Weekend Update: Father's Day Weekend:

I want to first say Thank You to everyone for the love and prayers sent our way during this time.
We have appreciated all of the comments, and every single phone call and text message.
We are truly taking this day by day/week by week and are praying for the best!
So Thank You again!

Though this weekend was not what we had planned (due to "bed rest") we still made the best of it.

Friday morning I had a Doctor's appointment. My OB gave me the OK to still be able to go to all of my Doctor's appointments. Thankfully I was able to drop Charli off with Steven at work so I didn't have to worry about totting her around (thanks honey). After my appointment it was back to the house to put my feet up.
When Steven got off work he brought Charli home and let her run around in the sprinkler!

I of course snuck outside for some fresh air and to capture this sweetie eating the water!
Don't worry, I was sitting down! ;)

After some fun outside Steven fed her lunch and put her down for her nap (let me just say how much he has been doing around the house and how grateful I am for everything he does).
After nap we decided to go to our neighborhood pool since I was feeling OK.

Charli had the pool to herself and had a blast swimming around!
I am thankful I can at least still watch my two loves having fun even if I can't join them!

After the pool we went back home and I let Steven open up one of his Father's Day gifts early...

I got him his two new racing uniforms for the US Military team he is racing for since he had a big race on Saturday morning!

I think I overdid it just with going to the pool because the rest of the evening was absolute hell for me... UGH. Needless to say, I knew Saturday would be a whole lot of nothing.

Saturday morning consisted of Steven waking up and heading to the South Carolina State Time Trial Race alone, where he ended up winning the State Championship!! I can't tell you how proud I am of my husband and all of the hard work he puts in to his hobby. I was just so upset that Charli and I couldn't be there to cheer him on...
We were still at home in bed sleeping!

The rest of our day consisted of me laying in bed watching movies as Charli would play with all of her toys next to me. Steven fixed us lunch, brought mine to me in bed, put Charli down for a nap, and I took a nap as well.
At least it was a super stormy afternoon so it made it a little better to be inside and didn't make me feel as guilty about not letting Charli play outside.

Today we woke up wishing the most amazing Daddy in the world a "Happy Dada's Day"!
Although I wasn't able to bring him breakfast in bed, I did make his coffee!
We had yummy waffles and a relaxing morning centered all around Daddy!
And though we didn't get to do anything big/fun/exciting, we had a really perfect day just spending time together.

All Steven wanted to do was watch the US Open, go for a run, and take care of his girls (I mean seriously, he truly is the most amazing father and husband and he is all mine!)

Steven did get down all of the infant items this morning too; carseat, swing, bouncy, bathtub, etc, and put them all together today. We are praying and hoping for the best but we are also planning for the worst. It doesn't hurt to go ahead and have everything ready now!

Steven and Charli headed to the backyard to play in the pool for a while before it was time for lunch and naps for all. Steven also got his run in during nap and some US Open!
After Charli woke up it was back outside for some more pool time and sprinkler time!

I so wish I could have been of more help for Steven today and I wish we could have ventured out of the house, but today wasn't about 'what we did', but about spending time together as a family. Charli and Steven had an absolute blast playing and I enjoyed every minute watching from afar.

Happy Father's Day honey!
We love you so much and hope your day was as special as you are!

And a Happy Father's Day to all of the dad's out there!
Hope you all had a great weekend!
