An October Style Tablescape:

Happy Friday friends!
I know I've been a bit all over the place lately with the blog, but I am trying to catch up on some things and get back on track! So bare with me! ;)

I wanted to pop in and share with you an October Style Tablescape since we still have a bit of October left and a couple more weeks until Halloween! So in case you have any Halloween Parties or get togethers coming up, you have enough time to create an elegant space for your guests!

Last year I went with a more neutral Fall Tablescape that could take you from September to Thanksgiving! And while I still loved last years look & that is also something you could totally do this year as well {just so fresh, crisp, and clean} I knew I wanted to do something different this year and focus a little more on a "Halloween" table. Mainly because I haven't decided on what I want to do for Thanksgiving this year {so I'm buying myself a little time I feel by doing this}.

I love the look of this tablescape and how simple it still is to create! I love that it is still a very clean look, and I love the black check table runner with the hints of gold & orange! I also love that there are still elements I will definitely be using for my Thanksgiving table next month!

So I hope this gives you a little inspiration if you are looking to spruce up your table or dining room space for any October happenings! I will link everything below!
Hope you all have a very happy Friday & a great weekend!

Second Annual Joint Birthday: A Golf PAR-TEE:

{*trying* to get caught up}

We celebrated our Summer babies with our Second Annual Joint Birthday.
Last Year we made the decision to do their birthday celebration together because Steven would be gone for Crew's Birthday.  Being able to celebrate as a whole family is what we all wanted, so the Joint Birthday Celebration was born. Fast Forward an entire year later and Daddy would be gone yet again, this time for Charli's birthday. Charli mentioned very early on that she wanted to do another joint birthday because she really wanted daddy at her party.

So three weeks after her actual birthday and just two days after he arrived home from Deployment, we celebrated! And we celebrated big!

Before Charli had mentioned she wanted to do another birthday party with her brother, I had already decided on a Golf theme for Crew because he was turning 4, and "Crew is turning FOOOOORE" just had to happen! So once we all agreed that a joint celebration was happening I asked Charli if she was fine with a Golf themed party or if she wanted something else. She loved the golf idea {both Charli & Crew love playing golf which helped}, and I was excited that I didn't need to come up with something else!

Their "PAR-TEE" was a hit and they loved every little detail I put into it! As did I! ;) I love making their birthdays extra special for them. I have been doing their traditional birthday mantel since their first birthdays and they love looking back at the photos I have captured of them from each month that has passed us by. I kept the food simple, did golf visors as party favors, we had putting greens in the backyard, and of course all the water activities {#FloridaSummerBirthdays}.

But their {all of ours} favorite part of the entire celebration was having our family whole again! Getting to hear Daddy sing Happy Birthday to them face-to-face was everything!

Everything & everyone else was just the perfect added bonus for them! They truly had the best birthday party and were the happiest I had seen them in a while!

So thank you to every single person who could be here for them and to make their birthday celebration the best it could be! It truly meant the world to all of us!
