Our HALL-oween Home:

It's a little bittersweet knowing that this will be the last holiday I will get to decorate our home for. We will be busy in the next several weeks preparing for our next move, so decorating for Thanksgiving just doesn't make much sense.

I have made a few updates from Last Years decor and I am loving how it looks!

Pumpkins, Spiders, Witches, and Bats
Our home is full of orange and black
It's a little bit of spooky and a whole lot of fun
Even our "clappy witchy" is hung
We'll surly be ready
For Halloween night
There will be plenty of candy
For every trick-or-treater in sight!

Outside:

Charli had a blast painting her pumpkin and even getting to paint brother's very first pumpkin!
She loves seeing them on the front porch and reminds me every day that it is "her punkin"!
She is going to LOVE helping daddy carve the big pumpkin this afternoon!

 Inside:

And Halloween wouldn't be complete without candy corn... Am I right?!

Happy HALL-oween Eve and Happy Decorating!

Charli in Charleston: My First School Pictures:

From Charli's Chair:

With a dress and a bow
And a smile on my face
Mommy drove me to school
And said it's picture day

She said to smile for the camera
And to look my very best
She said I'd get pictures by myself
And a picture with my class!

Well today was the day
Mommy and Daddy got to see
They looked at my pictures
And said they were so proud of me!

A note from Mom: Can I just say how much I adore her first set of school pictures!! She did so well, except for not looking in the picture with her class! ;)
You win some and lose some! ;)
She is growing up so fast!

Until my next adventure...
Thanks for stopping by!

Fall Family Photos:

We headed up to Greenville, SC  for the weekend because Steven was riding in the 2014 George Hincapie Gran Fondo with the Military Cycling Team. It was 80 miles of riding with 8,200 feet of climbing in both the South Carolina and North Carolina mountains. Steven did amazing and we were so happy we could make the trip up with him!
Greenville by the way is beautiful and we had a really fun yet low key weekend as a family!

(This is George Hincapie's Spa & Resort, where the ride started and finished. He also gave out a free bottle of wine from his vineyard on his property!)

And since I knew the Fall Foliage would be in full swing up there (still green here in Charleston), I took advantage and snapped a few Fall Family Photos!

Enjoy!

(Crew... It's not that bad... ;) In his defense, we did wake him up and by this time he just wanted to eat!)

And for the sake of keeping it real around here...
What really goes on when you are taking your own family photos with a tripod...

(I didn't realize I was out of range for my remote... haha! So this is me trying to run back into the shot... Fail!)

(Just making sure everything is working and set with my remote!)

Happy Monday friends and Happy week of Halloween!
