Mother's Day:

I hope every single one of you Mama's out there had a fabulous day being spoiled by your loved ones, you all deserve it!! I couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day with my little family. It was truly perfection at it's finest! Steven and Charli made the most wonderful breakfast to start the morning and on top of that got me fresh Hydrangeas (oh how he knows me well!) and the most wonderful Mother's Day gifts. I am truly the luckiest Mommy!

After a relaxing morning with full tummy's and a long 2 1/2 hour morning nap for a certain little guy we decided to go for a family walk to the park near our house. I haven't really "exercised" since surgery but since I have been feeling so good and Steven was home I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to test the waters. The park is right at a mile from the house, and besides a few sharp pains in my right side and some throbbing, I made it and felt pretty good.

We spent an hour or so at the park, letting Charli run around, slide, swing, and picking Mommy the most beautiful hand clump of flowers for "Moda's Day". While Crew and I enjoyed sitting on the picnic blanket most of the time before calling it an afternoon and making the walk back!

We spent the rest of the afternoon and day relaxing at home, watching The Players Championship, and letting Charli run around and play in the backyard. Then Steven made the most wonderful Mother's Day Surf & Turf Dinner; Filet, Crab Legs, Corn on the Cobb, Asparagus, Baked Potato, and of course accompanied by a delicious bottle of wine!

Thank you again honey, for making me feel extra special yesterday.

And the reason I get to celebrate...
These two tiny loves!

And for the sake of keeping it real around here... Taking pictures with an almost 3 years old...

 (#nailedit Charli...)

Thank you again for all the Mother's Day wishes I received.
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and
Happy Monday!
