We had a great long weekend with Daddy, full of lots of fun and exciting adventures (which I will get to this week) and a really great Memorial Day as a family. It was a relaxing morning that consisted of remembering the fallen as we sported our red, white, and blue jammies, snuggling in bed, goofing around, and having a very festive breakfast.
That afternoon we decided to host a little Memorial Day BBQ as our last "big-ish get together" since we are moving in about 3 weeks.
We had a truly wonderful afternoon with the friends that were able to make it (and missed the ones that couldn't). We celebrated with all things Red, White, & Blue and kept the menu to a pretty simple and classic "all American" theme!
It was a beautiful sunny day spent in the backyard surrounded by friends, music, bubbles, bocci ball, a fire pit, and a s'mores station!
*The smoke started hurting the little's eyes... So both daddy's sunglasses to the rescue!
We are so thankful for everyone who was able to come over and make the day truly special. We honored and remembered, as well as cherished our time together as we know we won't always get to see all of our friends whenever we want.
So thank you again!
