A Navy Dining Out & A Baby Brunch:

Good Monday morning friends! I hope you all had a lovely little weekend. Ours was warm and beautiful, with the perfect amount of relaxation and fun. Friday we headed to Steven's Department Head Class Dining Out. A Navy Dining Out is one of the oldest traditions to date that includes the uniformed member and their spouse. It was my very first Navy Dining Out and it was one for the books! We had a truly exceptional time with our friends! Between the jokes, limericks, skits, and poking fun it was truly a wonderful evening and we were so happy to be a part of it!

On Sunday I had the honor of throwing a good friend of mine a Baby Shower. She is pregnant with baby two and is having a little girl! It was truly a lovely time with some lovely ladies celebrating our friend Nikki and baby Aria!

I did a simple yet elegant Sunday Brunch style Baby Shower as it was going to be an intimate gathering of friends. It turned out perfect and I loved showering my sweet friend as we wait for Aria's arrival!

*For a "Guest Book/Keepsake", I had everyone sign this book for Nikki and Baby Aria!

*Crew was being a ladies man and got to spend the afternoon with everyone while Daddy and Charli had a park date!

Thank you Nikki for allowing me to do something so special for you! We love you and cannot wait to meet that sweet baby girl!

  4. You look gorgeous! I must say, I am surprised that the Navy Dining Out didn't involve uniform. We're Army and our Dining Outs have the soldiers wearing ASU's, but not Mess Dress. The shower looked cute!

    1. Thank you! Yeah this event wasn't ran by the command, it was run by the wardroom and the class took a vote basically and all decided it would be best to wear civilian clothes rather than uniform! :)

  6. I am just in love with Navy Dining Out & A Baby Brunch. I am sure everyone had a blasting time in this blasting party. At some domestic LA venues I also attended a family dining party on last weekend. It was a music themed party so a live music band entertained us a lot.
