My love for decorating, designing, and planning a party is no secret.
It is a love of mine and just another outlet for me to be creative.
I have literally had this party theme planned out in my head since the day after Charli's First Birthday Party (I know, I'm ridiculous... And may have a problem ;))!
Even though we weren't able to have a big birthday party for our sweet girl due to this pregnancy and modified bed rest, you better believe I was still putting together a nice afternoon party style lunch for her and for our family that was in town to celebrate with us!
It truly was the perfect day and perfect afternoon spent celebrating our little 2 year old!
Charli's Charleston Crab Shack
Seriously the theme was too perfect not to do!
Not to mention it ended up working out perfectly since our daughter already has expensive taste and loves crab! ;)
She is a Summer baby just like her Momma and I grew up with beach/summer themed birthday parties my entire life and honestly loved it. She is destined to have the same kind of birthdays but I will also always make sure that as she gets older it is what she wants too!
And since beachy/rustic/nautical/chic is what I do, I had every piece of decor in the house already and just threw it all together!
I did a couple strands of pictures hanging from rope;
in the entry way were her 2 year photos that I took
With the perfect crab handprint craft that Charli made!
On the mantel I did a picture from every month starting with her 1 year photo to see how she grew throughout the year! This is something I also did for her first birthday and something I plan to do for every birthday for our babies!
I was going for chic, rustic, beachy, yet elegant for her birthday and it turned out perfect
We kept everything very simple and it honestly turned out perfect!
Not to mention everyone enjoyed it!
And you can't forget to sing Happy Birthday and blow out candles!
We are so happy that my mom, sister in law, and brother in law could be here to celebrate with us!
Thank you all again for making the trip up!
It truly was a special time!
Not sure how I managed to only get pictures of all us girls... oops! Sorry Daddy!
