Grammy's Charleston Birthday:

We were so excited to have Steven's mom come and visit. This was her second trip here and it was over her Birthday, even if it was only for two days.
We were so happy to be able to spend the time with her!

She arrived late Tuesday night and both Charli and I were already asleep, but she arrived safe and sound!

Wednesday was her birthday (Happy Birthday again!).
We woke up Wednesday morning and made some yummy birthday waffles and had a morning birthday celebration

Followed by a relaxing morning enjoying the 80 degree sunshine

With someone who is clearly too cool for school!
But still found time to pick Mommy and Grammy some beautiful flowers

We then headed out to Firefly (Vodka Distillery).
Steven's mom had never been, and I think it was the perfect attraction for a fun birthday afternoon!

I mean does it get any better than
Vodka Shots:

Fresh Popcorn:

Feeding Bunny Rabbits:

A picnic by a vineyard:

(stealing Grammy's lunch)

And walking through the Garden looking at animals:

Nope, I think not!

The rest of our afternoon was spent in the backyard, laying out, enjoying the 80 degrees, the sunshine, and a water hose

There may have been a naked baby spotting too...

We finished off the day with a delicious Chicken Parmesan dinner made by the hubs and my famous Cookie Cake!

Thursday morning was another relaxing morning spent outside drinking our morning coffee while Charli helped Daddy wash his bikes.

After we all got cleaned up, we headed into Downtown and spent the afternoon at the Waterfront Park and walked around the City Market before grabbing some lunch

After a quick bite to eat we headed back for round two of soaking up all the fresh air and sunshine in the backyard!
This time pulling out Charli's pool!

It was the perfect way to end the day!

We had to say our goodbye's to Grammy this morning but are looking forward to seeing her again soon!

We love you and hope you had a fabulous birthday trip!!

We are looking forward to a wonderful weekend with the sunshine and 80 + degree weather!

Happy Friday everyone!

  3. You have such a beautiful family! I'm a little jealous of the 80 degree weather, but I guess we'll take the 50 degrees up here in CT. Your pictures make me want to have lunch near a vineyard and bask out in the sun all day. What a wonderful birthday celebration!
