Charli in Charleston:

Let me first start off by saying, Steven has officially checked in to the Naval Operational Support Center, otherwise known as NOSC, and has started his new job here as the XO. I know he will do an amazing job and we look forward to these next two years here! With that being said, Charli and I are also falling into our new normal... There has been a lot going on this past month, and a lot of transitions happening (weaning to whole milk, transitioning to only 1 nap a day (for 3 hours), and all 4 of her molars have cut through),  but she has been doing great none the less, and we are ready to get out of the house for play dates, and to find fun things to do while daddy is at work!

Heading in for his first day!

Today marks exactly 1 month that we have lived in Charleston, and we are loving it so far!! There is so much to do and see around this city, and we are looking forward to all of the adventures we will take and things we will do while we live here! You can see some of the things we have done Here and Here

On Monday morning we headed into Mt. Pleasant to park the car so we could walk over the bridge and back. It seems to be something that a lot of people do here, and I must say, it was quite the workout... Just over 5 miles in 95 degree heat with 100 % humidity (really makes me miss my nice cold, foggy walks in Monterey!) will wear you out... Needless to say I actually took a nap while Charli was napping when we got home (this never happens), but I am looking forward to adding this walk to my weekly routine!

One thing we loved doing in Monterey, was walking through the Farmer's Market on Tuesday afternoons... So when we saw the sign for the Thursday Farmer's Market on Daniel Island, we knew we would be checking it out! So this afternoon when Steven got home, we headed out!

Daniel Island is less than 10 minutes from our house, and I told Steven we WILL be buying a home there one day! Seriously the cutest area, and the Farmer's Market was adorable, but definitely not the same as what we were used to! That's OK though, Charli had a blast getting to walk around, and I'm pretty sure every person there said 'hi' to her and she waved back!

Charli is ready to take on Charleston too!
