We had an amazing weekend with Daddy being back!
Friday was Steven's Graduation from the Naval Postgraduate School, and as much as I would have loved for him to walk, I am so glad he was back home with us! Congratulations again Steven on receiving your Masters of Science in Systems Engineering Analysis!
Friday was a relaxing day of running errands, shopping, and a little bit of pool time!
Saturday morning we woke up and headed to the Riverside Arts Market (RAM)
RAM is put on every Saturday under the bridge in Riverside. It made for a perfect Saturday morning!
Yes, that is a pickle on a stick!! Amazing!
Saturday afternoon, it was off to the Hyatt in Downtown Jacksonville for my 10 Year High School Reunion. (Leaving Charli overnight again with my mom and dad... 2 nights in one week...) I had a bit of a meltdown on our way to the Reunion, but I knew Charli would be just fine (and she was! My mom said she did amazing!!)
So back to the Reunion... First off, I cannot believe it has already been 10 years??
10 years ago I was a 17 year old Swimmer and Soccer Player, walking the halls of Terry Parker High School, Student Council Vice President, and not a care in the world... Now, 27, a stay at home wife and mother, with an almost 1 year old! I would say I am very blessed, and couldn't have asked for a better 10 years!!
I am so glad that everything worked out so perfectly, and Steven and I were able to attend my reunion. We had an absolutely amazing night with great friends, reminiscing about our High School days, catching up with those that I haven't seen since the day we graduated, and let's be honest... Dancing the night away!
HAHAHA!! Best. Picture. Ever.! (basically sums up the night!)
It was seriously such a fun evening spent with everyone! I am so thankful though, that I have stayed such great friends with these girls! We go back to Elementary School and Middle School!
And one thing that I love is that some of us have babies around the same age! And this was Kelly's first night away from her little boy, Gavin! As much as we missed our little ones, we made sure we let loose and had a great time!
(Official mom dance moves? Yep, I think so!) HAHA!
(Mom problems!)
It was such a beautiful night too! Does it get any prettier than that? Gotta love the Main Street Bridge!
After the reunion, we all walked over to The Landing, and had VIP at Maverick's (country bar downtown). Perfect end to a perfect evening!
Yep, just keeping it classy!
Braves Forever We Will Be... We Are The Class of 2003!
On to the next 10 years!
Sunday we woke up and Steven and I went out to breakfast before heading home to our little girl! And yes, Charli was as happy as ever when she saw us, but then wanted Nana because they were about to go swimming! ;) So Sunday was a relaxing day spent with my family, poolside! (Oh and what is a summer day without ice cubes?!)
We also pulled out Charli's new bubble wand we got for her, and had a ball making these over sized bubbles!
And last night Steven and I stayed up super late to see if we could get a peek at the Super Moon! It was a perfect way to end our weekend!
Hope your weekend was Super! ;)
We have a very busy next 3 weeks, with moving into our new home this coming weekend, coming back down to Jacksonville to spend the July 4th holiday, heading up to Virginia Beach for a week for Steven to go to training, and celebrating Charli's First Birthday with friends and family in Charleston! I am looking forward to it all!
Happy Monday!
