While in Jax:

The kids, pups, and I headed down to Jacksonville for a couple of weeks while Steven supervised the movers for our pack out back in Charleston. He spent his weeks in Charleston and weekends down with us. I am so thankful for a husband who will do anything and everything he can to reduce my stress levels (as stress flares my disease), so him taking care of our move for us was a big help.

This was Crew's first visit down to Jacksonville and he was able to meet so many Friends, Aunts, Uncles, Great Aunts, Great Uncles, Cousins, two of his Great Grandmothers, and one of his Great Grandfathers (and of course I was horrible and didn't capture many pictures of these meetings... sigh). Though he met so many, he didn't meet everyone... I say this every time we go down and visit, but there is just never enough time no matter how long we are there to fit everything in. I am thankful though for the big things we were able to do while down there, like him being Baptized and celebrating his First Thanksgiving. Those were two very meaningful happenings that we will cherish forever. All in all, we had a wonderful time with family and friends and couldn't have asked for a better two weeks during this very hectic time for us.

A look into a few things we did while in Jax...

Change of Command Ceremony

Building Forts with Nana & Papa:

Smiling (duh):

Baking with Nana:

Cousin Stacey:

Bubble Baths & Pony Tails:
*Can we all just stop and take a moment... That profile, that neck, that sweet little curly pony... I DIE!

Lots of Play Dates with Friends:
*One of my dear friends Kate and I have been friends for over 20 years and we now both have little girls and little boys all stepping stones of each other!

*Friends who were stationed in Monterey with us are now in Jax! When we said goodbye in Monterey, Charli was only 9 months! Now she is over 2, they have an almost 9 month old, and we now  have Crew! It was so fun getting these 3 together!

*Another one of my dear friends Kelly and her little boy came over!

Fun at the hair salon:
*Not just hair stylists, but amazing family friends! They have been doing my hair my entire life. They remember me when I was Crew's age! This was such a fun night!

 A Daddy/Daughter Date Day:
(Charli's very first movie in a theater; Big Hero 6)

I even got our Christmas Cards mailed out:

 And so much more...

We are back in Charleston wrapping up a few loose ends and then we will be off to Newport, RI!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
Happy Monday!
