{a new} Home For The Holidays:

Happy Friday Friends and Happy One Week until Christmas! 

{is it really just one week away? Holy smokes!}

We have been pretty busy in our household this past week. If you follow me on Instagram then you will have seen it was officially Move-In Day on Tuesday for us! So yes, I am typing this up in my new house! Kind of surreal if you ask me, since we were supposed to be San Diego by now! 

You see, nothing is ever really "set in stone" in this wonderful Military life. After Newport we were supposed to have a 4 month "extended vacation" back in Jacksonville as Steven finished up different trainings all over before heading back to the West Coast. 

However, we got extremely lucky and a job opened up for Steven on a ship here in Mayport! Steven gladly excepted the orders because we knew that with him working late and going out to sea that I was going to need my family and friends to help me with how bad my health issues have been.

This is one positive that we have been incredibly grateful for with all of the negatives my health has brought to us.

So we finally found a home here in Jacksonville after months of searching that we loved and we couldn't be happier! And just in time for Christmas! 

So we are officially Home (hopefully forever) for the Holidays!
