Tennis Camp 2018:

Summer is coming to an end which means Summer Tennis Camp is officially over and regular Tennis will begin after the School Year starts. Tennis Camp looked a little different for us this year, because Crew finally had His Turn to take the court! This was Charli's third year at Tennis Camp and the girl improves every single year. She truly is a natural and I absolutely love watching her! 

Crew still has a lot to work on but we are so incredibly proud of him on his very first year. He went out there like he knew what he was doing, he listened to his Coach, and though he may not have made contact with every ball thrown his way, his improvement by the end of Camp was really amazing!

I love seeing our kids love a sport so much, work hard at it, and even succeed. Both Charli & Crew have asked to continue to play Tennis when it starts back up during the School Year, so that is exactly what we are going to do this year! We couldn't be more proud of the two of them and can't wait to watch them excel this year!

Charli Adele Turns Six:

On Thursday July 19th the little girl who made us a Mommy & Daddy turned SIX years old! With Daddy missing another year of Birthdays, all I wanted was to make Charli's day as special as I could. She woke up to her second annual requested breakfast in bed and to the first of many Happy Birthday songs that we would sing to her that day! 

All Charli wanted to do on her birthday was have a simple summer day at the pool and that is exactly what she got! So many friends were able to surprise her by meeting us at the pool and it truly made our little girl so happy! She played, she swam, we sang, and she thanked me for giving her the best day! Even the bit of rain we got didn't ruin her fun!  

Her special day ended with a fun Birthday Dinner at the restaurant of her choice {LaNop... cheap Mexican... girl after my own heart haha!}. A couple of friends and Nana joined, making it the perfect ending to such a good day! Thank you to everyone who made her day so special, you all have no idea how much it meant to her! 

We love you so much Charli Adele and are so happy you had the best birthday!

Charli Adele: Six Year Update:

I cannot believe another year has passed us by and we are celebrating our baby girl being another year older. Birthdays will always be an emotional time for me as a Mother. Reminiscing on the very day your baby was born, how little they once were, how grown they have become, how time truly passes by so quickly right before your eyes. Last Year's Birthday seemed to be a lot more emotional for me as we were transitioning into this whole new life and chapter, it was a big year. 

Now here we are, an entire year later, Charli rocked Kindergarten, we are preparing for First Grade, we have this whole School Business under our belt, and she is Six... SIX you guys. Six just seems so big to me, as in our baby girl truly is a "big kid" now.

Charli Adele,

Oh beautiful girl, mommy and daddy couldn't be more proud of the amazing kid you have grown to be this year. We were so proud of everything you accomplished in Kindergarten and cannot wait to see you thrive in the First Grade. You have truly grown so much this year... not only physically, but intellectually, emotionally, & spiritually. Your mind is like no other; the way you think is unreal sometimes, not like a normal six year old. You overthink everything, you analyze it, you engineer it, and there is always a logical answer with you. We hope you always continue to think the way you do and to always ask all the questions. You truly have beauty & brains sweet girl. We are so excited to watch you learn and grow even more this year and we know you will continue to do great things this School Year. You have been full on reading, and it amazes us the books you can now pick up and read. We hope you always have a love for books like your daddy. You did amazing again this year in both Soccer & Tennis and we are excited to watch you continue with your love of those two sports. Mommy and Daddy love you so much honey and we pray that this year is your best year yet.
