Friday morning, Charli and I headed over to a good friend of mine's for my very first paid Photo Shoot! Baby Jules came a few days early and is absolutely perfect!
Here is a Sneak Peek of what I captured...
Congratulations again Katey, Jules, and big sis Janey!
More of his pictures to come this week!
After our photo shoot, Charli and I did a little shopping, then back to the house for lunch and naps.
Friday ended with some shopping/errand running when daddy got home and dinner.
Saturday morning Steven headed out for a quick bike ride with a friend to get warmed up for his Triathlon this morning. When Steven got home we headed out for a Cupcake treat and a little shopping.
And yes, making a special trip to Cupcake in Mt. Pleasant was 100% necessary as Mama was having a craving! I love when my preggo cravings turn in to a fun family adventure! ;) Cupcake only bakes Gluten Free cupcakes on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This Saturday was Key Lime Pie... Seriously delicious! After our "treat" as Charli says, we did a little shopping at the cutest Princess Boutique. And yes, our little princess came out with tutu's, wings, wands, and more!
Oh little girls!!
Saturday afternoon we headed to our church for their Annual Lobster Sale
We picked up our two lobsters and headed home to a birthday party for sweet little Paisley next door who turned 3! Happy Birthday Sweet girl!
So happy we could celebrate with you!
After one exhausted little girl woke up from her nap it was to the backyard to try out the new pool daddy got for her.
Thanks Steven for the GIANT pool...
At least Charli loves it! ;)
And these two enjoyed some backyard time as well... Doing what they love...
Saturday evening we headed out to pick up Steven's race packet for the morning, grabbed a quick bite to eat on the way home at Mrs. Rose's Diner, then it was straight to bed for all of us as we were going to have a very early morning.
This morning we were up at 4:30AM to head out for Steven's first Triathlon of the Charleston Sprint Triathlon Series.
Today marked Steven's second Sprint Triathlon. His very first one was the PG Tri while we lived in Monterey. Crazy how things change in just a couple of years... His first Triathlon was just the two of us and I was wearing a Camelback full of vodka and orange juice to get me through the morning... This go around we have an almost 2 year old and I'm preggo... No vodka today :( haha!
I just want to say though how very proud I am of my husband and all of his accomplishments recently. Steven has been working hard these past couple of months to lose some weight and really get back into his competitive shape for races. In the past 3 months he has lost over 45 LBS and is as sexy as ever ;)! I am so proud of you honey and all of your hard work!
Keep it up!
Here are some amazing pictures I captured today of my love...
Swim:
Bike:
Run:
And an All Star Finish:
To top his first race back, Steven placed 2ND in his age group, and had the fastest Bike Time for all the non elite racers (out of a couple hundred racers!) and only 5 of the elite guys beat his bike time!!!
Congratulations again honey!
A big congratulations to Steven's Commanding Officer who participated in his very first Triathlon today and will be joining Steven in this Series as well!!
You did an amazing job!
The rest of our day consisted of
Sweat Pants
Naps
More Naps (Charli took 2 naps today)
And a little backyard time
We finished our day off with our amazing lobsters from the lobster sale that made for the perfect Sunday dinner!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
We are looking forward to a pretty low key week and Nana coming to visit for Memorial Day!
Congrats on the Tri Steven!
