Blessed be our God.

Almighty God, we pray you graciously to behold this your family, for whom our Lord Jesus Christ was willing to be betrayed, and given into the hands of sinners, and to suffer death upon the cross; who now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Let this be a remembrance of what Good Friday and Easter is all about! I hope everyone has an amazing Easter weekend with their family and loved ones! I know I sure will, and I know this will always be something that we will teach to our daughter, and she will always know the power of the Lord and our Creator! 

We glory in your cross, O Lord,

and praise and glorify your holy resurrection;

for by virtue of your cross

joy has come to the whole world.

May God be merciful to us and bless us,

show us the light of his countenance, and come to us.

Let your ways be known upon earth,

your saving health among all nations.

Let the peoples praise you, O God;

Happy Anniversary Steven:

I cannot believe it has already been two years! 

Two years ago today I was surrounded by all of my family and my absolute best friends in the entire world, getting ready to say "I Do" to the man that God made for me! I am so lucky to have found you Steven James, and Charli is even luckier that she gets to call you "Da Da"! 

You are my best friend, my everything! You are the sweetest, kindest, most genuine, loving, caring, selfless man I have ever met, and I get to call you my husband! (Not to mention you are totally good looking!) ;) I love you more as each day passes, and I am so excited to see what God has in store for us! I can't wait to spend forever with you, and to grow old with you! I love you Steven James, and Happy Anniversary!

What a day!

It's Official:

We have a crawler!!! 

Charli made her first strides on Friday (Daddy's birthday! And Aunt Jettie was here)! How neat and special is that! We wanted to make sure it was for real so we waited until she did it again... and she did, and has been on the go all weekend long! 

(Why is our sweet girl growing up so fast...)

And watch all three to find out another new trick that Charli learned today! :)

Weekend Update: Part Two:

This morning we woke up and it was off to San Francisco we went! 

Buckled up and ready to roll! ;)

We stopped and had breakfast at a cute Diner on our way up there, and then spent all afternoon walking around showing Jettie what San Fran had to offer! It was an absolutely beautiful sunny day! We started off by heading to see the Full House house... another bucket list item, checked! 

Then it was off to Lombard Street! Which is said to be the crookedest (most winding) street in the world. I must say, it was pretty neat driving down this street! 

We then went and parked, and walked down to Fisherman's Warf!

We walked all through Fisherman's Warf, and then headed out towards the Golden Gate Bridge! We found the perfect picnic spot with the most amazing view of the Golden Gate! I must say, it was pretty perfect!

The love between them is incredible! (But I think Charli was pulling Aunt Jettie's hair here! ;)) haha!

Ummmm... cutest baby booty I have ever seen!! And in mint skinnies... I can't even handle it!

During our picnic, brother and sister started competing in handstands/cartwheels/roundoffs... I don't even know what was happening, but I can honestly say it was the funniest thing I have ever seen! (Might have almost peed myself I was laughing so hard!)

I definitely think Steven wins for best all around! ;) haha!

We then headed back towards the Warf, and did Pier 39. We headed back to the car, and on our way out of town we went through 'Hippieland' I think it was called?! ;) 

All in all, it was another perfect day spent with my family! We also introduced Jettie to In-N-Out on our way home! Yum! 

It was a perfect weekend, and we are looking forward to all of the fun we are going to have this week while Jettie is here!

Weekend Update: Part One:

This weeks weekend update will be brought to you in two parts! With Jettie arriving on Friday and with Steven's birthday, it has been a very busy, yet fun filled family weekend! 

You can see our pictures from Friday on Steven's Birthday post, so on to Saturday... We woke up and had a pretty relaxing morning that consisted of waffles, and Cat in the Hat! Charli got to try her very first waffle on Saturday morning and she loved it! 

Then we headed down Highway 1 to Big Sur! (We make this drive for all of our visitors! It is a must see when coming to Monterey!) And for Jettie being a first timer to California, it was a trip of a lifetime! Just look at these breathtaking views. This never gets old!

We stopped and had lunch at River Inn in Big Sur, and sat on the lawn by the river and enjoyed the sunshine!

Afterwards we headed to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park! We definitely were not dressed for hiking, but I am so glad we stopped and saw a piece of California that we might never see again! Hiking in flip flops... No bigs...! ;)
