Weekend Update: May Drill:

With it being the beginning of May, you guessed it... It was another Drill Weekend for the hubs! 

So we decided that us girls would head down to Jax for a fun little weekend since daddy had to work! So Friday morning, we got packed up, and we hit the road! 

We left Bogey with daddy so he had some company! :)

We arrived to my parents Friday afternoon and were ready for a fun little weekend!

We woke up Saturday morning to a gloomy/rainy day, so it was a day full of pedicures and shopping for us girls! After we got home and had lunch and naps we waited for the rain to stop so we could go outside and play.

So we colored...

 Checked up on some emails...

And then finally got to go outside...

We ended our Saturday with dinner on the grill!

This morning we woke up to blue skies, sunshine, and waffles for breakfast! 

And a little Sunday morning jam sesh with Uncle Do Do (my brother's name is Darren, and when I was little I called him Dare Dare. Several months ago we started working with Charli on saying "Dare Dare" and it came out sounding more like "Do Do", so naturally it stuck! You're welcome Darren!)

 The rest of the morning was spent outside enjoying the gorgeous weather!

We went for a wagon ride...

(With her baby of course!)

 We played

We watered flowers

We blew bubbles

And we of course had a dance party...

 (I mean... That wedgie, Those cheeks, Those thighs... I die!)

It was a perfect Sunday morning!

After nap it was out to the backyard for more fun in the sun and splashing in the pool!

Charli had a blast floating, kicking, and blowing bubbles. 

She is definitely a little fish in the water!

We ended our Sunday with burgers on the grill and a relaxing evening with Nana and Papa! 

It was the perfect kind of relaxing but fun kind of weekend and we are so happy we could make the trip down here! 

While we were having lots of fun though, we were still thinking about daddy and wishing he could have been with us!
